The High Springs City Commission will hold public hearing on the following proposed Ordinances on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 6:30 PM.   The hearing will be held in the City Commission Room at City Hall of the City of High Springs, 23718 W US HWY 27, High Springs, FL. The proposed Ordinance is:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 50 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS TO PROVIDE FOR TOBACCO SALES REGULATIONS; NOTIFYING ALACHUA COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT, PURSUANT TO THIS ORDINANCE, THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS HAS OPTED OUT OF CHAPTER 65 AND CHAPTER 67 OF THE ALACHUA COUNTY CODE ENTITLED TOBACCO MINIMUM LEGAL SALES AGE 21 ORDINANCE; DECLARING THIS ORDINANCE TO BE IN CONFLICT WITH CHAPTER 65 AND CHAPTER 67 OF THE ALACHUA COUNTY CODE; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE
