Florida Representative Joe Geller Statement On Nazi Demonstrations In Orlando

TALLAHASSEE ‒In response to the Nazi demonstrations yesterday in Orlando, Florida Representative Joe Geller issued the following statement:

“The demonstrations we saw yesterday in Orlando were offensive, vile, and the antithesis of the values of diversity and inclusion that we should hold dear as Floridians. It seems absurd to have to say this, but Nazis and the hateful ideology they represent, which, to be clear, means advocating for the extermination of myself and my family for our Jewish heritage, have absolutely no place in our state.

"I am grateful to all those who have spoken out against these despicable morons and I am hopeful that every elected official will use their voice to loudly proclaim that hate has no home here and neither do Holocaust deniers and Nazi sympathizers.”
